Today was another day in the Wirecard criminal trial. The witness: Felix Schütze, who from 2019 on worked at Wirecard Bank assessing and controlling loans and credit lines.
About three months after starting, Schütze was sent to Singapore to inspect oCap’s facilities. A contradictory written report by the local managers led the presiding judge to dwell on this point at length.
The judge shouted at the witness after the latter expressed his own opinions.
Early in his testimony, Schütze said he was dissatisfied with the written statement by Dunn & Gibson lawyer Zeidler, who had been commissioned by Wirecard Bank after the insolvency to conduct an investigation, including for the special police unit. After reading Zeidler’s report, Schütze hired his own lawyer and sent corrections to Dunn & Gibson but received no reply.
The witness was questioned in particular about oCap loans and various other strategic credit lines. He mentioned Wexeler’s friend Turki, who directly intervened in some credit decisions.
He also referred to IMS Capital owner Vucak, who called him in Schütze's office and said that Vucak “was important for Wirecard”. 🔥
